TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Jeffrey Bell, Secretary to the Library Sub-Committee, Marine Biological Association
Date26 July 1888
DescriptionRix is uncertain as to whether Bell's note 6 February has received an official reply.

He notes that the matter was brought before the Royal Society Officers, but being referred by them to the Library Committee, was not considered until the end of the session when that committee had their meeting. They decided not to accede to their request that officers of the Plymouth Laboratory be allowed to borrow books from the Society's library on the same terms as the Fellows.
