TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Kitchen Parker, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 September 1888
DescriptionRix was unable to answer Parker's note of 22 September, noting that fixing plate numbers 'is a taudry business'. Parker may take plate 62 onwards, but Rix asks that he inform him about how many plates he has, so as to allow the numbers for the next paper to also be fixed.

Rix does not know who dealt with what Parker described as his 'undigested notes', and states that although Dr Michael Foster does know, he is currently abroad and has not sent his address. Rix responds to Parker's kind enquiry about his holiday, describing it as 'delicious'.
