TitleCopy letter from A H White, to Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld
Date3 October 1888
DescriptionReferring to the additional references wished for, White notes it is neither possible nor judicious to make a small supplementary list, and instead suggests quoting the abbreviated references against the author's name as is often done. White also questions the gender and etymology of the Thorectandra, and challenges his stated reasons for chosing the name for this genus.

White also asks about Bajalus, and whether he wishes this orthography to be retained, as the Latin is Bajulus.
