DescriptionRecords receipt of their cheque for three pounds in payment of Sir William Jervois' subscription, and notes that Sir Walter Buller who advanced the money will send them the receipt which Rix gave him.

Rix proposes that they pay the amount annually to the Royal Society's bankers, and encloses a form for that purpose which can also be used as a reminder of the amount and date of payment.
