TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Bowman, Fellow of the Royal Society, Joldwynds, Dorking
Date26 October 1888
DescriptionRix has instructed their engravers to take impressions of the plates and post them to Bowman, by Monday if possible. He asks whether Bowman had noticed that he only sent five copper plates on Wednesday, and that the plate for 1842 is missing and irrecoverable. They do have the drawings of the 1840, 1841 and 1842 plates, so these are complete.

A postscript notes that they have no coloured plates of 1842, either in the library or in stock.
