TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Dr Robert Lendlmayer von Lendenfeld
Date6 November 1888
DescriptionIn response to Lendenfeld's letter of 28 November, Foster states that given the amount of trouble and expense the Royal Society have already incurred in relation to his paper, they will not agree to carry out the proposed changes at the Society's expense. The printers are willing to make the changes if Lendenfeld wishes to make them at his own expense. Herbert Rix, Assistant Secretary, has directed Foster to return Lendenfeld's 'ancestral tree' according to his request.
