DescriptionWith reference to a postcard and returned memorandum, Rix informs them that the Royal Society has obtained the set of volumes of the Catalogue of Scientific Papers from the Stationary Office for sale at a reduced price to their Foreign Member Professor Quincke [Georg Hermann Quincke]. Rix asks for cash payment as the Stationary Office have demanded payment from the Society, and notes that upon receipt of the payment the volumes with be delivered to Messrs Trübner & Company's messenger.
