Description | Dr Richard Quain, Mr Joseph Norman Lockyer and Frankland were appointed a sub-committee at yesterday's meeting [of the Dinner Committee] to chose the wines. Lockyer has agreed to arrange the champagne, leaving Quain and Frankland to choose the other wines. Rix has written to Quain to ask him to arrange a time to meet Frankland at Willis's Rooms, also informing Lockyer should he wish to join them. |
