TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Mr Collings, 172 Strand
Date15 January 1889
DescriptionCharles Vernon Boys paper is for 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' and not 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. The figures should be full size, except where they would 'look ugly' when they should be reduced and the scale noted. Rix returns the figures and asks that they proceed at once.
Rix also states that Michael Foster believes they have some photographs of spectra illustrating Joseph Norman Lockyer's paper which have not been returned, and asks if this is true. He wants all the originals from which the blocks are made, and some are missing.
