DescriptionRix notes that he should have called attention to the enclosed letter [not included] from the Marquis de Caligny, stating that he answered the questions about books, but on the matter of his candidature he said that the number of Foreign Members of the Royal Society is limited to 50, and vacancies rarely occur. Williamson will know whether or not to say more than Rix already has.
