DescriptionWith reference to Sir M Foster's letter of Saturday relating to the granting of facilities by the French and Spanish Governments to the expeditions being dispatched to observe the forthcoming solar eclipse, Rucker finds the parties are leaving England at once and Rucker asks if Sanderson could obtain by telegraph from those Governments, the desired permission for the expeditions to land with their instruments.
