TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Collotype & General Printing Company
Date27 March 1901
DescriptionDr [Dukinfield Henry] Scott complains that their work on the plates of his last paper were not nearly as good as their earlier work. The reproductions from drawings have a dark ground-tint which gives the figures an ugly appearance and obscures detail. Scott wishes to stress that he expects higher standards. Asks for them to show Scott proofs and not to proceed until he is satisfied. Advises that if they cannot deliver to their earlier standard then it would be better for them not to take on the work.
