TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Henry Mahoney Christie, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 October 1901
DescriptionThe India Office has sent on a demand for instruments urgently required by the observatory at Kodiakanal enclosing, for the opinion on the Observatories Committee, the specification and drawings of the instruments. If Christie considers a meeting of the Committee necessary to discuss the matter Harrison asks Christie to make an appointment for one, or asks if the matter can be settled by circulation among the members of the Committee. The drawings and specifications could not well be multiplied as they are sent in original and would have to be circulated.
