TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date8 October 1901
DescriptionAsks if Glazebrook can provide some materials for a paragraph on the National Physical Laboratory for the Annual Report of the Council which Harrison is currently drawing up. Would like to bring matters up to date since the last report, page 142 of the 'Year Book'.

There is another matter which ought to be referred to in the Council's Report; the negotiations for the protection of the Observatory from Electric Tramways resulting in the necessity of moving the Kew Observatory instruments. Asks for notes of the steps in these transactions which are worth recording.
