DescriptionWith reference to his letter of 25 July 1898 advising of the despatch to Admiralty of copies of the 'Preliminary Account of the Observations made by the Eclipse Expedition and by the Officers and men of H.M.S. 'Melpomene' at Viziadrug in January, 1898, Harrison forwards 50 copies of the full paper of the observations made at Viziadrug by Sir N Lockyer FRS, Captain Chisholm-Batten and Professor Pedler FRS. Requests the copies be distributed amongst the observers on board the 'Melpomene' provided the Lords of Admiralty approve.
