TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Messrs Cassell & Company
Date16 August 1901
DescriptionSir M Foster thinks that with the assurance that the picture of the eruption of Krakato will be kept safe, they may be lent for the purposes of reproduction. Asks the Messrs to send for the picture. Mr Ascroft[?] has not replied to James' note giving him particulars of the purpose in view so the Messrs had perhaps best try to see him and possibly fortified by the loan of the eruption picture, he may see his way to lend what the Messrs wish.
