TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lazarus Fletcher, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 October 1901
DescriptionAcknowledges Fletcher's letter of 21 October and will attend to his request regarding this titles and the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'.

With the exception of the memorials and other documents laid before the Council on 5 July and mentioned in the minutes, none of the documents Fletcher has has enumerated were officially communicated or received by the Society, nor are they preserved. Has been unable to trace the covering letter referred to in the minutes. Sir M Foster has no recollection of the memorial having been sent in with original signatures appended. The presumption is the original signatures were obtained on separate copies and embodied in the printed list which was sent in.
