TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Karl Pearson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date12 November 1901
DescriptionWith reference to Pearson's letter of 7 November, Harrison has just sent Pearson's supplement paper to press and has sent a sharp memorandum to their printers on the subject of dropped or drawn types in mathematical printing which are not properly replaced. Regrets that this sort of thing should occur and has tried to make it clear that the printers must take means to secure a higher standard of accuracy in their work. Is glad the error was observed in proof before sending to press.
