TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Professor Charles Scott Sherrington, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date19 November 1901
DescriptionSir M Foster has asked the author to reply to Sherrington's letter of 16 November about the Pathological Society and to say that there is no objection to Sherrington referring before that Society to the researches he proposes to describe to the Royal Society, but Foster takes it that Sherrington would not allow so much to be published as would interfere with the value or priority of publication of his final paper for the Royal Society.

Regarding the Malaria Committee, the letter author has communicated Sherrington's wish to Lord [Joseph] Lister but is afraid it would be impracticable to arrange a meeting for the afternoon of the Anniversary. Foster suggests 28 November for a Malaria Meeting.

Sherrington's cheque for the Diner for £2.10.0 should have been £2.11.0, asks Sherrington to alter the amount, initial and return the enclosed cheque [not enclosed].
