DescriptionIs desired by the Sectional Committee for Physics and Chemistry to inform Walker that they do not see their way to recommending Walker's memoir on 'applications of the kinetic theory of gases', for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', but are willing to recommend the insertion of an extended abstract, amounting to not more than 12 pages of print, in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', in case that course meets Walker's approval.
