TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor William Fletcher Barnett, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date16 December 1901
DescriptionBarnett' note on the increase of specific resistance has come to hand. Unfortunately there is no meeting of the Society before 9 January. It would be for the Sectional Committee of Physics and Chemistry to decide how Barnett's previous mention at the 'Inst. E. E.' [Institute of Electrical Engineers] would affect the originality of the papers. The Sectional Committee meet on 16 January and it would wish to know how much of the work has already been made public. Briefly discusses a recent paper in the 'Annalen'.
