TitleCopy letter and memoranda from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Horace Lamb, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 January 1902
DescriptionForwards for Lamb's information the revised paper on 'the Stability of a Spherical Nebula' by Mr J H Jeans, and the original report of the first referee, Professor [Augustus Edward Hough] Love. Asks if Lamb concurs in the course proposed.

Includes a copy memorandum by the Chairman of the Mathematics Committee, suggesting the right course would be to submit the paper to the original referee again before sending it to Mr Jeans for further reconsideration.

Includes a copy memorandum by Dr J Larmor stating the author should be informed that it will be necessary to prefix the date at which the paper as rewritten came to hand. That being so the author may wish to arrange his new matter in a more suitable manner. The referee's criticisms may be sent to the author as they stand.
