| Description | President and Council have laid their letter and enclosures of 23 May before the Malaria Committee. The Committee are mindful of the esteem of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and don't wish it to appear they are passing judgement on their results, but they believe it would be desirable to appoint a commission as suggested. The Committee take Chamberlain's view that any such commission should be independent of the Colonial Government and the Liverpool School.
Further suggests that if the commission are left in any doubt as to the value of the preventative measures under reference, they should further enquire into the matter, and shall be given assistance for doing so. |
