TitleCopy letter from Sir Michael Foster, to The Secretary, The Foreign Office
Date15 May 1902
DescriptionIt has been proposed that Drs G C Low, Christy and Castellani, when they have finished their researches into Sleeping Sickness in Uganda, should return home by the ordinary sea route. But it seems desirable that Christy should return home via the Nile Valley in order to complete his investigation. He will be able to investigate the circumstances favouring the spread of the disease northward, and therefore suggest measures for its prevention or control. He will also be able to study the epidemic diseases prevalent along the Nile Valley. Requests that the Foreign Office make arrangements for this route to be taken.
