TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Frederick William Gamble, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date21 November 1902
DescriptionIn reply to Gamble's letter of 19 November, Harrison's letter of 18 November was written to give Gamble the opportunity to give an oral exposition of his paper before the Society on 27 November, but the statement sent in the circular holds good which is that unless Gamble specifically desires, the reading of the paper will be formal, that is, in title only, having regard to the fact that an abstract has already been published. If Gamble still wishes to make a statement regarding his paper, the Secretaries will endeavour to make arrangements for him to do so next week but Gamble's paper is last on the list [for reading].
