TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to, Alfred Bray Kempe, Treasurer of the Royal Society, 10 Porchester Square, Hyde Park
Date20 January 1903
DescriptionApologizes for harping on about the International Catalogue, but the position of [Dr H Foster] Morley's office in relation to the Royal Society requires clearing up and regularizing. Morley holds the attitude that he has nothing to do with subscriptions, and that the Royal Society is not merely a guarantor of the United Kingdom subscriptions, but a direct subscriber for 45 sets of the Catalogue. If this view persists, it could land the Royal Society in a wrong position. It would be well for the Committee of the Catalogue to meet and define Morley's position.
