TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to, Professor Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date1 May 1903
DescriptionAugustus George Vernon Harcourt and Dr William Napier Shaw were named as referees for Dr Perman's paper on 'The Evaporation of Water in a Current of Air', but the Committee were not aware that it had already gone to Professor Hugh Longbourne Callendar, who reported it on it and sent it on to Harcourt. Both have recommended publication in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Asks if it is therefore necessary to send the paper to Shaw.
