Description | Captain Greig has since 25 May been engaged in Uganda in investigating Sleeping Sickness in conjunction with the Commission sent out under the direction of the Royal Society.
The Commission has made considerable progress but much remains to be done and Lieutenant Colonel [David] Bruce FRS, the head of the Commission, who has recently returned int England, reports that Greig is doing most admirable work, and that in the interests of the enquiry it is most desirable he be allowed to continue his work for the present. Suggests the desirability of the Under Secretary taking such steps as he sees fit to ensure that Greig should be allowed to continue his labours in Uganda. |
