TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to P Emary, 45 Moray Road, Tollington Park, N (Geologists Association)
Date15 January 1904
DescriptionHarrison explains that Emary's application of 18 December 1903 for a grant towards publication of Dr Rowe's paper 'The zones of the white chalk of the English coast' will be presented to the Council of the Royal Society the following week. Prior to this, Harrison wishes to know the special circumstances reported to Council under which the grant of 50 pounds was made, and so asks that Emary forward to him a copy of the letter of application if it came from the Geologists Association. He also asks if, given the numerous series of parts which Emary's letter suggests are being contemplated, whether this will be the final application, or if future applications are to be made for the same project.
