Description | Harrison had spoken to an individual [typescript of name faded] regarding the Queensland alleged cure for Sleeping Sickness some time ago, and stated that if anything came of it he would write on an unofficial basis to explain the difficulties of bringing it officially before the Sleeping Sickness Committee who could not take it seriously. The only comment that could be made would be concerning the difficulty in communicating it to the Colonial Government without causing resentment, so he suggests that Read arrange to quietly drop the matter. Michael Foster agrees that this is the best course of action.
Harrison apologises for the typewritten letter. |
