TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr John Hughlings Jackson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date18 February 1904
DescriptionHarrison understands that Jackson believes he has requested a resuspension of Dr Risien Russell's certificate, but that despite a careful check of the letters and register of requisitions, he has not found evidence of this. It had been received the previous year and the certificate was duly resuspended, though that was the fifth consecutive year and under the new Statutes, passed the previous year, the certificate has now lapsed.

He speculates that Jackson is referring to a request for a new form of certificate to make a fresh application for Russell, and that perhaps that certificate is still with a supporter instead of at the Royal Society. He suggests this only as it has previously occurred.
