Description | Harrison, in response to Gollancz's letter, outlines that the Statutes of Association state that every Academy with a project to submit shall provide at least 300 printed copies, with 100 of these to go to the Directing Academy and 10 each to all the others. However, as three months notice is to be given to all the Academies of propositions to be submitted to the General Assembly, which meets in three months, Harrison will include his notices in some currently been sent out, to be followed by more detailed printed copies once Gollancz has acquired them.
He refers to the difficulty of strict adherence to Statutes, but notes that it is clear that Gollancz's Academy needs to send copies of his propositions to each of the Academies, as Harrison does with the Royal Society propositions. |
