DescriptionHarrison refers to a letter from Lucas to the Crown Agents for the Colonies relating to the payment of the Ceylon contribution to the cost of the publication of Professor Herdman's Oyster Fisheries Report, which has arrived at the Society in an envelope addressed to the Treasurer; he asks if he is correct in interpreting it as a requisition to be submitted to them for the money. If this is correct, Lucas need not reply.
