TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to John William Mallet, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date30 March 1904
DescriptionHarrison apologises for the difficulties in delivering his copies of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, and for the expense to which he has been put. He had instructed their publishers to address the copies according to Mallet's instructions, which included an address for the University of Virginia, through the agency of Smithsonian Institution. The error was apparently that the copies were not sent via the London agent of the Smithsonian, so Harrison will in future instruct that they be sent via Messrs William Wesley & Son.
