TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Wolfe Barry, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 January 1904
DescriptionHarrison acknowledges Barry's letter of 29 December, but maintains that no cheque has been received from him for the Dinner tickets. He explains that the Royal Society formally register letters received and their enclosures, and their records show that they had only received letters from Barry on the 9th and 16th November. He suggests that the cheque drawn on the 12 November must have gone astray.
