DescriptionHarrison writes to inform Callendar that, having consulted Dr Joseph Larmor, they have decided to abandon plans for the demonstration of Callendar's motor engine experiments at the Royal Society's Soirée, due to the trouble it would cause to him, and they difficulty the Society would have in setting aside a room for the purpose. He communicates the Society's gratitude for his offer to supply such an interesting exhibit.
