DescriptionHarrison acknowledges receipt of his letter concerning a proposed investigation to Mediterranean Fever. He notes that the subject was brought up at the Royal Society some years ago, with a response sent to the Colonial Office regarding the conditions under which the Society would be prepared to advise them. In the absence of a reply, and before he responding to the Director General in detail, Harrison is contacting the Colonial Office again concerning whether an investigation is to proceed in the manner suggested by the Society.
