Date13 March 1889
DescriptionIn response to Moss's letters of 14 and 27 September, Rix can inform him that at the recommendation of the Library Committee, the President and Council of the Royal Society have reinstated the Royal Dublin Society on the list of institutions entitled to receive the Royal Society publications free of charge, following an earlier misunderstanding.

In future, both series of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' and 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' will be sent to both the National Library of Ireland and the Royal Dublin Society. They are sending the back issues due to the Royal Dublin Society in the meantime.
