TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr John Ambrose Fleming, 9 Clifton Gardens, Maida Hill, W.
Date1 January 1890
DescriptionRix presents his good wishes for the new year. He reports that a paper on excretion of bile by Mr Robson [Arthur William Mayo-Robson] has been communicated, and Dr Michael Foster wishes Rix to suggest that it go to Professor Gerald Francis Yeo as a first referee. Rix notes that it is unlikely to be read before the 23rd, and asks if it should go to Yeo at once.

Joseph Norman Lockyer is noted as not wishing his paper to be read on the 9th, leaving only two papers for that day. Rix is writing to Dr Gilbert to ask if his paper will be ready, and if so, what the title will be. Rix asks if he is authorised to advertise it if Gilbert states that it is ready.
