TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to the Secretary, Her Majesty's Treasury
Date23 March 1889
DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Mr Mowatt's letter of 16 March to the President of the Royal Society which informs him that the Lord Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have decided to grant to the Society the surplus copies of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' currently in the Stationery Office, and Foster is directed to convey their thanks.

Foster further states that they are close to agreeing an arrangement with a publishing firm for the next three volumes of the work, but that in fact it would be more convenient to store the previous volumes on the Royal Society's premises. They are ready to be received whenever it is convenient.
