TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date10 April 1889
DescriptionRix reminds Foster that Dr Hugo Müller abandoned his task of writing an obituary of Dr Walter Flight, and almost two years ago Foster stated he would get someone else to write it, but they have not received any manuscript.

A postscript notes that Rix can find no memorandum of anyone having undertaken obituaries for Sir Julius von Haast, Robert Hunt or Richard Quain and asks if any were to be written. A further postscript states Rix has a note saying that Dr Russell Reynolds declined to write the obituary of Dr A Farre, but he has not heard of another person being chosen.
