TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix to Oldfield Thomas, Natural History Museum
Date8 May 1889
DescriptionRix writes concerning Thomas' paper, and in reference to the note wishes to know whether the proposed plate is to be drawn directly from a specimen or from a drawing which he has already completed. If the latter, it must be sent in as soon as possible to be laid before the Committee of Papers with the manuscript.

The Committee will decide on a firm to execute the plate, and estimates then obtained as usual, unless Thomas is proposing to employ the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Company and pay for it himself.
