TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society]
Date20 May 1889
DescriptionRix understood from the last meeting that Rayleigh wants all circulars and letters relating to the Committee of Papers sent to him, and so lists the eleven circulars he has enclosed [not included]. Rix also reminds him that Professor Thorpe and Sir Henry Roscoe, referees for Professor John William Mallet on 'Atomic Weight of Gold', were to be invited to confer.

They will not send off any manuscripts until they get the letters to enclose, or until they receive Rayleigh's orders to despatch them.
