DescriptionRichardson's application has been laid before the President and Treasurer of the Royal Society by Rix. They have asked Rix to explain that although names for invitation to the Soirée are usually only suggested by the Soirée Committee, and the list is already too full, they will make an exception in this instance, and allow Rix to send a card to Sir William Fraser.
