TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Sons, University Press, Cambridge
Date15 June 1889
DescriptionIn returning the enclosed proof, Rix wishes to remark that although the two new pages are satisfactory, the first six pages contain a large number of errors, indicated in their former proof, which have been left untouched. Rix wishes to know whether Dr Foster has given more than general instructions regarding composition or corrections besides the type selected, as they may be working at cross purposes, with some of the corrections disregarded as being in opposition to the general rules received from Foster.
