DescriptionRix apologises for the length of time his letter of 24 May 1888 has gone unanswered, but is now able to inform him that the President and Council of the Royal Society have ordered the University of Tübringen to be placed on the list of institutions entitled to receive 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', both series, and 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'.

'Transactions' will be sent by the agency of the Messrs Dulau, and the 'Proceedings' will be posted to them. Rix would be glad to accept their offer of Univeritàts-Schriften in exchange.
