TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Ferdinand Falk
Date2 March 1889
DescriptionWith reference to Falk's letter of 31 January, Rix has had the copies made but has not been able to find someone to correct them, and the pressure of his own work has prevented him from doing so himself. They wish to have it checked without delay, but the person who wrote the copies has a little knowledge of latin and so there are unlikely to be many mistakes. They will do their best to verify the work for Dr Wohlwill, but the complexity of the writing is such that even experts may find it difficult to decipher.

The packet Rix sends includes all that was sent for by Wohlwill, including letters of Fagel, a letter of M Paisen, a statement of the other letters of Paisens with date and reference. These amount to 17 letters an a list on 49 sheets foolscap, for which they ask 50 shillings if the Committee can afford that amount.
