DescriptionRix sends a formal receipt for 60 pounds life composition, received on 19 August during his absence from town. He further notes that the previous letter received from Cunningham and dated 29 June, containing a money order for three pounds, arrived during the absence of John Evans from town and so did not receive his signature. The latter has been returned, with the request that it be destroyed, along with the receipt for the same.
