TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Marcet, Fellow of the Royal Society, Malagny, Versoix, Geneva
Date20 September 1889
DescriptionRix sends originals and proofs of his two plates, and asks that the originals, on six pieces, be returned, and that one of the two sets of duplicates also be returned. He also understood from Alfred H White that the text was waiting for a preliminary matter which Marcet was to prefix to it, and he presumes that the proof of the other part is with Marcet, and so asks that the whole text be returned.

Rix concludes 'Time flies!'.
