TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Turner, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 March 1889
DescriptionA written request is necessary for resuspension, and Rix has resuspended Professor Cunningham's certificate accordingly. Rix wrote to Dr Michael Foster asking that he communicate with Turner about the Challenger report and is unsure why he has not done so. All Rix knows is that Foster has prepared a draft letter for the Treasury which is being sent round other Committee members, but has not yet reached Rix.
